To express this constant movement, I broke away from static representation and leaned entirely into the beautiful, unpredictable laws of fluid chemistry. The creative process in my studio required meticulously pouring and manipulating high-pigment acrylic fields, allowing the warm corals and ambers to dynamically fold into each other on the canvas. This pouring technique created intricate cellular networks and fine, lace-like marbling along the edges of each petal that actively mimics the microscopic veins found in living flora.
The sudden addition of the two finely detailed butterflies introduces a beautiful layer of stillness and precision against the flowing velocity of the organic lines.
