The creative journey in my studio required an intensely layered, highly precise application of premium acrylics. I wanted to map out the sheer, kinetic momentum of the aurora by treating the paint like columns of light energy. By blending deep, velvety grays with luminous teals and soft, blushing magentas, the colors marble across the canvas to suggest slow, waving curtains of light. A sharp stream of electric cyan lines slices through the composition to create a powerful sense of velocity and atmospheric friction.
